As to the bit he just doesn't get, why a large number of Middle
East / North African immigrants want to replicate the conditions that they've
just fled from, some knowledge of Islamic doctrine will help understand Muslim’s
religiosity. MIGRATION, or hijra.
“And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find on the earth
many locations and abundance,” (Koran 4:100). PROSELYTISING, or da’wah. “Fight against those who disbelieve in Allah. Make a
holy war…When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three
courses of action. If they respond to any one of these you also accept it and
withhold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if
they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against
them…. If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they
agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to
pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them.” (Sahih Muslim 4294). SUPREMACISM:
“This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favour
upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion.” (Surah 5:3)
Muslims regard Islam as the perfect system of religion, law, education, and
social and civic management for the entire world. Because of Islam’s ESSENTIALISM there is no
need for revision and its 7th century laws last forever. Any failings in its governance is therefore due
to external causes, a process called RESSENTIMENT and a major source of Muslim’s
justifying warfare and lawfare. Muslim’s
failure to INTEGRATE is written between the lines in Karl’s post, but Muslims
are not required to integrate. Their
host country is required to integrate with Islam.
So much more to learn, Karl, but you are definitely on the
right track. Islam is aiming for global
hegemonic control, and their methods are publicly acknowledged, simple, straightforward,
written in its history, and divinely ordained.
But here’s what I just
don’t get. Why is Western civilisation
allowing itself to be defeated? This is
so much more difficult to answer.
